Japanese Maple
This trees outstanding feature is its bark which develops fissured irregularities as it ages, making it extremely popular for bonsai work. The rough bark gives the appearance of age. Green summer leaves turn to yellow-gold in fall. Name refers to rough bark in Japanese. All of our Arakawa trees are very low grafted.
